Basic rules when attending CSSA events:
By default, all Single Adult LDS members and their invited guests, who may or may not all be members of our faith, who are willing to abide by church standards, are welcomed to participate in CSSA activities regardless if their Stake is part of our Multi-Stake program or not. Member's who can supervise their children and teens are welcomed to bring them to our many family friendly events, but contact us or the event sponsors if you are not sure which events are family friendly. Divorces must be final before you can attend as a Single Adult.
Mid-Singles & Single Adults Event Categories Explained:
Most CSSA events are set up for all Single Adults ages 36 and above, but there are the occasional events that are tailored for Single Adults of certain age grouping. This grouping is more for the benefit of the activity than the participants. For example, Bungee jumping would likely be targeted to the Mid-Single, but as in all events, if a 100 year old single believes they can successfully participate they should call the sponsor of the event and ask to attend. Another example, a Mid-Single may want to attend an event on estate planning targeted to the SA. Most event sponsors are flexible so ask. According to the Church Handbook, Single Adults are all ages 36 and above.
Young Single Adults (i.e. 30's) transitioning from YSA to SA/Mid-Singles are also welcomed to join our events. FYI: Some older YSA with children and teens sometimes find Single Adult events are a better fit for their needs. Transitioning YSA new to SA/MS events find it helpful to contact the event sponsor so they have someone to meet, introduce them, and not feel uninvited.
All Singles Events: These are the majority of Single Adults activities for all singles ages 36+
Mid-Singles Events: These activities are tailored for singles ages 36-50
Single Adults Events: According to the Church Handbook, All ages 36 and above. Otherwise these activities, if any, are tailored for singles ages 46-60. So basically everyone
Unless specified, all Church single adult events are open to all single adults in the Church so do not get hung up on age minutia. Socializing (fun), service, and friendship are our paramount goals.

Single Adult Ward/Stake Representatives Information (Riot Act):
Single Adult Ward/Stake Representatives Information (Riot Act):
As of August 2025, the single adult Multi-stake Committee was disbanded. One reason being is Stakes are the Church's fundamental organization of a large geographical area and trying to layer a multi-stake organization for a subgroup over several Stakes/States caused multiple issues. Now each Stake is responsible for planning and conducting all their own single adult activities, single adult events, and announcements for their Stakes. This should not present a problem as this is how things were done in the past before the Multi-stake Committee was created to help overcome the isolation problems of communications between most of the front range Colorado Stakes. Instead of all local Stake single adult reps meeting in one location to help plan and share costs, each Stake will now create single adult events and activities and then invite other Stakes to attend (thus the need to communicate). This now means Stake single adult representatives will need "religiously" list their single adult events on their Stake's www.LDS.org Stake calendars and then inform the other Stake's single adult reps in their desired area so the other Stakes can also put these events on their Stake calendars. On this website we already list the Fountain Stake single adult representatives for you to contact with your single adult reps contact information, events, activities, and announcements. All front range Colorado single adult Stake reps will also need to contact this website via announcements@csldssingles.org and single adult Facebook pages with this information if you want to broadcast it. This website will relay your information as a courtesy to the front range Colorado single adult community (subject to approval). The reason for this communications confusion and complexity is Stakes are "information desert islands" and are essentially blind to what the other Stakes are doing unless people make a dedicated effort to "cross pollinate" this information. This means in the metro Colorado Springs area, if no one in a Stake tells the other five Stakes what single adult events and activities are happening in their Stake, 80 percent of the single adults just in metro Colorado Springs will not likely attend your single adult events no matter how great they are. For example, a single stake announced single adult dance might have only 10 single adults of their own Stake attend, but when announced to all local Stakes, may have 50+ attend. This will also save the Church tons of money by not duplicating five dances of 10 single adults in each Stake. So, to reiterate, single adult reps, please contact each other and us with your single adult information in order to make more of our metro/front range single adult events well attended and fun. Tell your Stake single adult members about us!
